Maxine Miller Pilcher

  Graveside services for Maxine Miller Pilcher of Shreveport, 66,
were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Centuries Memorial
Park, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Southside.
Officiating was Rev. Robert Radford, minister with Oakmont Church
of God.

  Mrs. Pilcher died Sunday, Sept. 15, at LSU Medical Center,
following a lengthy illness. She was born in Hall Summit, and had
been a resident of Shreveport for over 40 years. Mrs. Pilcher was
a homemaker, and a member of the Oakmont Church of God.

  Survivors include her husband, Raymond E. Pilcher of Shreveport;
two daughters, Sandra Self of Shreveport, and Donna Grimaldi of
New Orleans; three grandchildren, Lynn Chism of Many, James Self
of Minden, and Renee Brooks of Longview, Tex.; and six great
grandchildren.
