All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** The Sabine Index - Bettie Carver Paulette 31 Mar 1933 - Mrs. Bettie Cagle Paulette (nee Carver) born June 25, 1841, died March 24, age 91 years, 8 months and 29 days. She joined the Methodist church when quite young and lived in the same church to the end of life. As long as she was able she was a regular attendant. She is survived by five children: Mrs. Mary E. Oliver, Bivens, Texas; J. H. Paulette, Vivian; W. D. Paulette, Tallulah; Mrs. O. B. Tee, Alanta, Texas; V. V. Paulette, Zwolle. She has left a large family circle, 21 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon from the Zwolle Methodist church. About one half of the church was filled with her relatives, and the other with her friends. The funeral services consisted of hymns by the choir, prayer by Rev. Halbert, Baptist pastor, and the talk by Rev. J. Cude Rousseaux, pastor of the Methodist church.
