Pullen Sr., 76, of Pleasant Hill, died suddenly Wednesday, July 17, in Schumpert Hospital, of an apparent heart attack. Mr. Pullen was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Shrine, and the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church, and a veteran of World War I. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary D. Pullen of Pleasant Hill; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Hogan, and Mrs. T. H. Pugh, both of Shreveport; one son, Dr. Thurman C. Pullen Jr. of Shreveport; and three grandchildren. Funeral services are under the direction of the Drewett Funeral Home in Mansfield, and were held at 4 p.m., Thursday, July 18, at the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church. Burial was in Pelican Cemetery, Pelican. Pallbearers are Sam Peters, Charles Peters, Charles Rose, Solon Tarbox, Hugh Hardee, R. J. Bridges, Malon Mary, and John Huffman.
