Mr. Lee Roy Palmer, Sr.

  Mr. Lee Roy Palmer, Sr., 93, died Saturday, September 13, at Sabine Medical
Center.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, at First Baptist
Church in Zwolle with interment following at Zwolle Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry
Penfield officiated.

  Survivors include one son, L. R. Palmer, Jr. of Milam, Texas; 11
grandchildren and a host of great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and
nephews. Mr. Palmer was preceded in death by two wives, Ruby Greer Palmer and
Dorothy Britt; two sons, Ruel and Kenneth Palmer and two daughters, Marliynn
McComic and Jo Ann House.
