A. Hospital in Alexandria, on Saturday, Oct. 18, 1986, at 10:30 a.m. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 2 p.m., in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with Bishop J. M. Slay officiating, and Elder Glen Hardy assisting. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife, Joan Potter of Many; four daughters, Joyce, Jodi, Joanie, and Janice Potter, all of Many; one son, John Wallace Potter of Many; parents, Wallace and Elouise Potter of Many; maternal grandmother, Jewel Buckelew of Jonesboro; maternal great grandmother, Emma Howard of Many; mother and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Paul Harris of Mobline, Ala.; five sisters, Fern Linsley of London, England, Jan Couburn of Hodges Gardens, Jerrie Foreman of Biloxi, Miss., Jennie, and Joy Potter, both of Many; one brother, Jeffery Potter of Alexandria; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
