All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Kenneth Paul Palmer Services for Mr. Kenneth Paul Palmer, 57, of Shreveport, were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, December 4, at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel, with pastor Randy West of Hope Community Church, officiating, assisted by pastor Warren Turner of Hope Community Church. Burial was at Forest Park West Cemetery. Mr. Palmer, a native of Sabine Parish, and resident of Shreveport for the past 45 years, died Saturday, December 1, at South Park Guest Care Center, following a lengthy illness. He was a paint contractor. He is survived by his wife, Norma Ann Palmer of Shreveport; his father, Lee Roy Palmer Sr. of Zwolle; two sons, Paul Palmer, and Jonathan Palmer, both of Shreveport; two daughters, Deann Mangum and her husband Gralen, and Cyndi Chamlee, all of Shreveport; five grandchildren, Joel Jacob, and Madelyn Mangum, Brandy, and Biranna Chamlee; one brother, L. R. Palmer Jr. Pallbearers were Roy Palmer, Bill Palmer, John Chamlee, Cardis Lambert, Donald "Buddy" Bolen, Curtis Shaw Jr. Honorary pallbearers were Claude Gibbs, Larry Henson, Clyde Barnes. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
