Ervin Lee Palmer

  Rites for Ervin Lee Palmer, 83, of Longview, Tex., were held at
2 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 10, in the Macedonia Baptist Church, of
which he was a member.

  Mr. Palmer, a native of Alabama and a retired farmer, had lived
in the Longview area many years.

  Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. B. L. Freeman of Henderson,
Tex., and Mrs. Ruby Barnes of Longview; three sons, Clarence
Palmer, and William Palmer of Longview, and Eugene Palmer of
Sulphur Springs, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Roy Green of Mansfield;
four brothers, W. W. Palmer of Hallsville, Tex., Arthur Palmer of
Mansfield, Jesse Palmer of Belmont, and Roy Palmer of Zwolle; 11
grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
