Mrs. Rose Rita Palermo

  Mrs. Rose Rita Palermo, 92, died Monday, April 5, 1999, in
Sulphur.

  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 7, at
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with interment following
at Mimosa Pines in Sulphur. Visitation started Tuesday, April 6,
and will continue through Wednesday, from 8:30 a.m., until
service time. Father Eddie Richard officiated.

  Mrs. Palermo was a native of Abbeville, and a resident of
Sulphur. She was the owner of Palermo Company, Palermo Realty and
Development Co., and Palermo Real Estate Co., since 1955. She
owned Palermo Real Estate Insurance and Construction Co. Mrs.
Palermo was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in
Sulphur, and was a member of the Catholic Daughters.

  Survivors include three sons, Myron Palermo of Cillis, Tony
Palermo of DeQuincy, and Jo Palermo Jr. of Sulphur; three
daughters, Frances Walker of Florien, Mary Ann Florenza, and
Carolyn Rose Palermo, both of Beaumont; 18 grandchildren; and 18
great grandchildren.
