G. B. Poimboeuf Sr.

  Funeral services for George Belwett Poimboeuf, 78, of Leesville, were held at 2 p.m.,
Monday, in the Hixson Funeral Chapel. Burial was in the Leesville Cemetery.

  Mr. Poimboeuf, a retired bookkeeper and salesman, died at 3:35 a.m., Saturday, in a
Pleasant Hill clinic. He was a charter member of the West Monroe Masonic Lodge No. 419,
and a member of the Leesville Masonic Lodge No. 241, and a member of the Woodsman of the
World.

  Survivors include a son, G. A. Poimboeuf of West Monroe, a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Hood
Bennett of Sani Dia Base, N. M.; two brothers, Dr. Walter Poimboeuf of Pleasant Hill,
and Joe Poimboeuf of Beaumont; a sister, Mrs. Odessa Stewart of Leesville, and three
grandchildren.
