The Sabine Index - Nancy A. Pynes

  27 Feb 1959 - Mrs. Nancy A. Pynes, died at 3:15 p.m. Feb. 24 in
a Shreveport hospital after a brief illness.

  A native of Sabine parish, Mrs. Pynes lived in Florien before
moving to Shreveport four years ago. She was the widow of the
late L. A. Pynes of Florien.

  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. W. T. Smith of
Shreveport, and Mrs. N. L. Lee of Gurdon, Ark; four grandchildren
and five great-grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Florien Baptist church at 10
a.m. Thursday, Feb. 26 with the Rev. J. W. Reynaud, pastor,
officiating. Burial will be in the Florien cemetery under the
direction of the Warren Funeral home.
