Funeral rites were conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist church, Many by Rev. W. M. Greer, pastor. Interment was at Glenmora under the direction of Massingill funeral home with Masonic rites at the grave. Pallbearers were Bill Leslie, J. Wiley Miller, J. M. Abington, C. B. Byrd, Jr., T. M. Phillips and J. M. Belisle Surviving relatives relatives include: son, Don, Georgetown, S. C.; daughter, Mrs. Dessie Richker, Port Arthur, Texas; wife, Mrs. Dela Eldred Peniger, Oakdale; sister, Mrs Anna Pringle, Alexandria; three grandchildren. Mr. Peniger worked for the K.C.S. railway for 15 years, later was employed by The Texas Company at Port Arthur, Texas. In 1935 he came to many, embarked in the restaurant business and lived here until his demise.
