Ruth Pinckard

  Mrs. Ruth Pinckard, 58, of Campti, died Friday night, July 14,
in a Natchitoches nursing home, after a long illness.

  Services were held at 4 p.m., in the Campti Baptist Church, with
the Rev. Miles Walsworth, and the Rev. David Bryant officiating.
Burial was in the Campti Baptist Cemetery, under the direction of
Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home.

  Survivors include three sons, James Pinckard of Houston, David
Pinckard of Baton Rouge, and John Pinckard of Germany; one
stepson, Bennie Pinckard of Florien; eight daughters, Etta
Pitchford, and Martha Smith, both of Baton Rouge, Sarah
Hollingsworth of Coushatta, Mary Jo Baker, and Carolyn Cobb, both
of Odessa, Texas, Laura Pinckard, and Nancy Pinckard, both of
Houston, and Vera Pinckard of Campti; 13 grandchildren; and one
great grandchild.
