The Sabine Index - John Harvey Pentecost

  10 Jun 1955 - Last rites for John Harvey Pentecost, 48, who
passed away at his home near Florien, Saturday, June 4 was
conducted at Mt. Carmel Baptist church at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 5
with Rev. J. C. Leach officiating, assisted by Rev. Coda Salter.

  Interment was in Mt. Carmel cemetery under the direction of
Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors are his mother, Mrs. J. W. Pentecost,
brothers, E. V. of Florien; Ellis of Shreveport; C. A. Pentecost
of Florien; sisters, Mrs. Herman Smith and Miss Mammie Pentecost
of Florien; Mrs. Martey Walker of Converse; and Mrs. Billy
Burkett of Hanna, Louisiana.
