  M. C. "Carroll" Pennington - February 11, 1988

  Mr. M. C. "Carroll" Pennington, 71, of Florien, died at Sabine
Medical Center in Many on Feb. 6, 1988.

  Services were held at Prospect United Methodist Church at 2 p.m.
Feb. 7 with Rev. Troy Henager and Rev. John Koelemay,
officiating. Burial was at Prospect Cemetery under the direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  He is survived by his wife Anne Laurie Pennington of Florien,
two daughters, Carolyn Eubanks of Elizabeth and Barbara Townson
of Florien, two sons, Charles Melvin Pennington of Florien and
Gary Wayne Pennington of DeRidder, two sisters, Marjorie Rambin
of Goldonna and Melba Bray of Many; 12 grandchildren and numerous
nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers include William Robert Rambin, Melvin Rambin, Ray
Walker, Aron C. Tynes, Bruce Hendrickson, and Bryan Hendrickson.
