Mrs. Etta Pennington

  Funeral services were held for Mrs. Etta Pennington, 80,
Thursday, September 10.

  The services were held in the Alford Heights Baptist Church,
with the Rev. A. J. Dupree officiating. Graveside services were
held in the Goldonna Cemetery, with Warren Meadows Funeral Home
in charge.

  Survivors include one son, Melvin Carroll Pennington of Florien;
three daughters, Mrs. W. R. Rambin of Vidalia, Ga., Mrs. F. E.
Walker of Natchitoches, and Mrs. E. M. Bray Jr. of Many; two
sisters, Mrs. Soffie Garrett of Shreveport, and Mrs. Mattie
McClean of Plain Dealing; 15 grandchildren; and three great
grandchildren.
