Mrs. Mary M. Parrie

  Mrs. Mary M. Parrie, 68?, of Zwolle, died in Many on Thursday,
Jan. 17, at 3:45 p.m., following an extended illness.

  Mrs. Parrie is survived by her husband, Joe Parrie of Zwolle; 3
sons, Leo Parrie, Thomas Parrie, and Phillip Parrie, all of
Zwolle; two daughters, Mrs. Julie Rivers, Zwolle, and Maggie
Callender of Minden; eight brothers, Bush Meshell, Ludry Meshell,
both of DeQuincy, Albert Meshell, Walter Meshell, Wilson Meshell,
Hosea Meshell, Robert Meshell, all of Zwolle, and Floyd Meshell
of Shreveport. four sisters, Kathreen Parrie, Lucy Remedies, Edna
Meshell, and Ada Remedies, all of Zwolle; 38 grandchildren; 44
great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19,
at the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Msgr. Robert C. Friend
officiated. Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
