All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** The Sabine Index - Rose Marie Perry 21 Jun 1946 - Death came to one of Bastrop high school's most popular high school's most popular students Tuesday night, June 11, when Rose Marie Perry, 17-year-old drum majorette for the school band and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Forster K. Perry of Perryville failed to survived from a diabetic coma which she entered a few days before. Funeral services were held for the attractive young girl, who would have been a senior next term at the Bastrop high school, Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Bastrop, with the Rev. Father Ulrie Landolt, O.F.M. officiating. Interment followed in the Catholic cemetery. Pallbearers were: Blake Andries, Will Andris, Ona Perry, Ira Perry, Barr Perry and W. D. Postell, all uncles of the deceased. Surviving in addition to her mother and father are a sister, Elizabeth of Monroe; a grandmother, Mrs. Julian J. Andries, Many, and numerous aunts and uncles. The mother of deceased is the former Miss Anita Andries, native of Many.
