John Parrie

  John Parrie of Zwolle, died Saturday, Sept. 19, at 7:30 a.m., in
the Heritage Manor Nursing Home, following an extended illness.
He was 93.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Catherine Parrie of Zwolle;
four sons, Toney Parrie, and Elmo Parrie, both of Zwolle, Jessie
Parrie of Gas City, Indiana, and George Franklin Parrie of
Amarillo, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Crawford of Canton,
Miss., Mrs. Marcy Williams of Converse, and Mrs. Vickie Martin of
Zwolle; a sister, Mrs. Louisa Meshell of Zwolle; 26
grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church on
Monday, Sept. 21, at 10 a.m. Father Gustave Bergeron officiated.
Burial was in the church cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
