Mr. Walter Parrie (Photo)

  Mr. Walter Parrie, 81 years old, of Zwolle, La., passed away,
Monday, May 28, 1984, at 10:45 p.m., in the Pleasant Hill General
Hospital in Pleasant Hill.

  Burial services for Mr. Parrie will be held today, Thursday, May
31, at 11 a.m., at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Msgr.
Matthew Scanlon officiating. Interment will follow at the Old St.
Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Services were under the direction of
the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include three sons, Joseph F. Parrie, and Walters
Parrie from Amarillo, Texas, Daniel Parrie from Zwolle, La.; five
daughters, Mary E. Cook, Okla. City, Okla. Elsie Meshell, Noble,
La., Emma McTire, Keithville, La., Dixie Dozer, Okla. City,
Okla., Maggie Remedies, Zwolle, La.; five sisters, Clara
Remedies, Zwolle, La., Lucinda Layton, Shreveport, La., Louise
Leone, Zwolle, La., Elva Leone, Zwolle, La., Bertie Lee Remedies,
Zwolle, La., 26 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
