Willie Parrie

  Funeral services for Mr. Willie Parrie, 95, were held at 2 p.m.,
Tuesday, August 21, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment
followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home. Father Danny Walsh officiated.

  Mr. Parrie died Monday, August 20, at Sabine Medical Center in
Many.

  He is survived by three daughters, Mary Myrtice Ezernack of
Conroe, Texas, Ruby Phillips of Zwolle, and Corabell Picard of
St. Martinville; three brothers, Walter Meshell of Zwolle, Floyd
Meshell of Shreveport, and Hosea Meshell of Zwolle; fifteen
grandchildren; thirty four great grandchildren; four great-great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
