Mrs. Dorothy Lee Parrie (Photo)

  Mrs. Dorothy Lee Parrie, 70, died Friday, Oct. 9, at LSU Medical
Center in Shreveport.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 12, at St.
Joseph Catholic Church, with interment following at St. Joseph
Cemetery. Father David Richter officiated.

  Survivors include three sons, Emmitt Parrie Jr. and wife Debbie,
Jackie Lynn Parrie and wife Julie, and Garland Parrie and wife
Amy, all of Zwolle; four daughters, Pat Getschel and husband
Jerry of Zwolle, Barbara Sepulvado and husband Bernis of Ebarb,
and Betty Bucknell of Quincy, Calif., and Jo Ann Presseau and
husband Michael of Zwolle; mother, Louise Ebarb Rivers of Zwolle;
one sister, Hester Escott and husband Joe of Ebarb; special
friends, Wanda and Ed Ferris of Zwolle, and the Rev. Stephen and
Glenda Neesley of Zwolle; 21 grandchildren; 15 great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces, and nephews, and friends.

  Mrs. Parrie was preceded in death by her husband, Emmitt Parrie
Sr.; father, C. R. Rivers; and one sister, Marqurite Parrie.

  Pallbearers were Roger Lopez, J. L. Pennington, Allen Martinez,
Ronald Ray Carter, Martin Sepulvado Jr., and Huey Cordova.
