  Funeral services for Jackie Lynn Parrie were held Monday, Oct.
7, at 1 p.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle. Father Tim
Hurd officiated, with burial following in the church cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Parrie, 45, of Noble, died at LSU Medical Center in
Shreveport on Saturday, Oct. 5.

  He was a shear operator with Mark Martinez Logging Co.

  He is survived by his widow, Julie Parrie of Zwolle; three sons,
Justin Parrie, Jeffrey Parrie, and Joey Busher, all of Zwolle;
two daughters, Brandi Ebarb, and Jessica Parrie, both of Zwolle;
four sisters, Pat Getschel, and JoAnna Presseau, both of Zwolle,
Barbara Sepulvado of Ebarb, and Betty Bucknell of Quincy, Calif.;
two brothers, Emmitt Joseph Parrie Jr., and Garland Curry Parrie,
both of Zwolle; maternal grandmother, Louise Rivers of Zwolle;
three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

  Pallbearers were Bobby Bass, Michael Presseau, Phillip Alvey,
Greg Ebarb, Pat Bass, and Howard Bass.

  Honorary pallbearers were his work crew at Mark Martinez Logging
Co.
