James L. Parks

  James L. Parks, 68, of Marthaville, died in Natchitoches on
Sunday, March 17, at 10 a.m., following an extended illness.

  Parks is survived by two sons, Randolph Parks of Houston, and
Errington Parks of Alexandria; three daughters, Mrs. Ina Connor
of Houston, Mrs. Alma Gooden of Mansfield, and Mrs. Amy Cook of
St. Louis, Mo.; three brothers, Otto Parks of Marthaville, Mircal
Parks of Fordace, La., and Albert Parks of Shreveport; three
sisters, Mrs. Nadine Ehi of Kilgore, Tex., Mrs. Lillie Mae Watson
of Mansfield, and Mrs. Ann Martin of Hollywood, Calif.; and 8
grandchildren.

  Graveside services were conducted at the Beulah Cemetery, with
the Rev. J. D. McNeal officiating, on Tuesday, March 19, at 2
p.m.
