Jennie Elizabeth Pearce

  Funeral services for Jennie Elizabeth Pearce, 91, of Shreveport,
will be today at 2:30 p.m., at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home
Southside Chapel, with Dr. Billy Smith, pastor of Southside
Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Centuries Memorial
Park.

  Mrs. Pearce died Tuesday, July 31, at 10 a.m., in the Guest
House Nursing Home, after a long illness.

  A native of Manchester, Tenn., she lived in Shreveport 50 years.
She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

  Survivors include a daughter, Louise Sebren of Zwolle; three
brothers, Fritz Alwood of Edgerton, Canada, Arthur Alwood of
Bellington, Wash., and Homer Alwood of Bow, Wash.; seven
grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
