  Mrs. Jewel Zillian Pierce - February 25, 1988

  Mrs. Jewel Zillian, 82, died at Sabine Medical Center in Many,
La. on Feb. 10, 1988.

  Services were held at Warren Meadows Chapel at 12 noon on Feb.
11 with Rev. Joe Dan Franklin officiating. Burial was at Florien
Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include one son, Chandos Elton Pierce of Stonewall;
one daughter, Glynda Lewing of Many; two sisters, Beulah Rhodes
of Panhandle, Tx. and Annie Lee Miller of Olney, Tx.; seven
grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rev. C. C.
Pierce.
