P. King, Guy Burr, and William Hassan officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Parks, 67, of Marthaville, died at 6:30 p.m., Friday, in Schumpert Medical Center, Shreveport. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and a native of Marthaville. He was a school bus driver, and a member of Beulah Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Fay B. Parks of Marthaville; one son, Kenneth Wayne Parks of Marthaville; three sisters, Mrs. Nadine Ehl of Liberty, Tex., Mrs. Lillie Mae Gates of Bossier City, and Mrs. Ann L. Morton of Sacramento, Calif.; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were Arden Settles Jr., Ray McDonald, Bob Ehl, Gene Parks, Donnie Parks, DeLane Jennings, Jerry W. Parks, and Bobby D. Birdwell. Honorary pallbearers were Ray Jennings, Barnet Durr, Brandon Cotton, Lois Olive, Clarence Bowden, Bill Powell, Ed Moore, J. C. McCrory, Dick Durr, and all Natchitoches Parish school bus drivers.
