Lee Dixon, Rev. J. P. King, Rev. Guy Burr, and the Rev. Hyland Packard officiating. Burial followed in the Clearwater Cemetery in Robeline. Mr. Parish died Thursday, January 18, 1990, in Shreveport. He was a deacon of Anthony Baptist Church, a World War II Army Veteran, Past Patron of Marthaville Chapter #223 O. E. S., and member of Natchitoches Chapter #13. He was a member of Trinity Commodery #008 Knight Temple in Alexandria, La., Past member of Hiram Chapter #45 R.A.M. Past Master of Council #51 R & SM, Master of Ajax Lodge #325 F & AM. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Parish. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Cotton Parish of Robeline; one brother, Jack Parish of Canton, Texas; one sister, Georgie Sanders of Marthaville; a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Darren Dietrich, Marion Dietrich, Charles W. Dietrich, Dale Dietrich, Cedric McCollister Jr., and Jack W. McCollister, Ricky Berry, and Randy Berry. Services were under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
