The Sabine Index - August 24, 1988

  Mrs. Lena Mary Parish

  Mrs. Lena Mary Parish, 89, died at Natchitoches Parish Hospital
in Natchitoches, La. on August 21, 1988.

  Services were held at Warren Meadows Chapel on Tuesday, August
23 at 11 a.m. Officiating were Rev. Guy Burr, Rev. G. C. Berley
and Rev. Highland Packard. Burial was at Clearwater Cemetery
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Parish was a charter member of the Anthony Baptist Church
and a member of the Marthaville Chapter #223 O.E.S.

  Survivors include two sons, Willie Eldred Parish of Robeline,
La., Jack Clifton Parish of Canton, Tx.; one daughter, Georgia
Aleen Sanders of Marthaville, La.; four grandchildren, 12 great
grandchildren; six great great grandchildren and a host of nieces
and nephews.

  Pallbearers included Jack Watson McCollister, Rickie Len
McCollister, Billy Quisenberry, Lyn Carter, Patrick Quisenberry,
and David McCollister.
