L. Z. Price

  L. Z. Price, 51, died in a Shreveport hospital, after an
extended illness.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, in the
Drewett Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Schmucker
officiating. Burial was in the Converse Cemetery.

  Survivors are his widow; one son, Billy Joe Price of Baton
Rouge; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Jean Rohman, and Mrs. Trudie
Mae Runnels, both of Baton Rouge; five brothers, L. P. Price of
Mansfield, L. D. Price, and Clarence Price, both of Port Arthur,
Tex., Clifton Price, and Sherman Price, both of Houston; eight
sisters, Viola Diamond of Oak Grove, Gertrude Price, and Mrs.
Leona Brown, both of Zwolle, Mrs. Ethel Myers of Leesville, Mrs.
Maggie McCaskill of Fort Worth, Mrs. Lois Boullion of Port
Arthur, Mrs. Bessie Blankenship of Beaumont, and Mrs. Louila
Summerville of Baton Rouge; and four grandchildren.
