Pearce Funeral services for Mrs. William H. Pearce, 78, were held Sunday, at 2 p.m., Nov. 3, 1963, at the First Baptist Church, with Rev. Kelly Fitzgerald officiating. Burial followed in the Clyde Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral Home. Mrs. Pearce died here in a hospital, after a lengthy illness, Nov. 2. She was the daughter of Frank and Sally Moore Lynch. Annie Lynch Pearce was the widow of the late William H. Pearce, he having passed away several years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Pearce were natives of Sabine Parish, and made their home in Many all their married life, where they contributed in numerous ways to the growth of the town. Mrs. Pearce was esteemed by all who knew her, and especially by her children. Her home was opened to her children and their friends at all times. Mrs. Pearce lived a full, rewarding life, as a wife, mother, and grandmother, and a friend to all. She is survived by two daughters, Miss Maggie Pearce, Mrs. Elaine Boone; two sons, W. H. Jr., Floyd J.; four sisters, Mrs. Joe Corley, Miss Eva Lynch, Mrs. Guss Wal, and Mrs. Sam Russell; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers were Clark Pouncy, E. B. Wright, Wesley Snell, John L. McDonald, Robert Pearson, and J. E. Dees.
