All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** James Coleman Priest Funeral services for James Coleman Priest, 62, of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 14, at the Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home Chapel in Arkadelphia. The Rev. Gary Turner officiated. Burial was in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery, under the direction of Myrry-Ruggles. Mr. Coleman died on Monday, Dec. 11, near Fulton, Arkansas. He was born July 29, 1933, in Luxora, Ark., and was the son of Chat Harmon, and Georgia Walker Priest. He was a welder, a courier for All Care Pharmacy, a Korean War Army veteran, a longtime member of AA, and a Baptist. Survivors are his wife, Barbara Jean Getty Priest; one daughter, Janis Ann Priest Skaggs of Ft. Smith, Ark.; three sons, Jeffrey Lynn Priest of Jackson, Miss., Jesse Coleman Priest Jr. of Okalona, and John Mark Priest of El Dorado; his stepfather and mother, Huel and Georgia Selph of Sparkman; one brother, Bob Selph of Sparkman; five sisters, Betty Daniell of Hampton, Ark., Barbara Richardson Rougeau of Many, Jewell Priest Peters, Sue Wilbanks, and Maybelle Robbins, all of Sparkman; seven grandchildren, Daniel Brooks, Charles Brooks, Jeffrey Lynn Priest Jr., Morgan Raymond Skaggs, Nancy Lee Priest Beevers, Donnie Baker, and Melody Brooks; one great grandson, Shannon Beevers.
