Joe M. Procell 
  
  Joe Manuel Procell, 80, died Friday, Dec. 15. 
  
  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 16, in the 
Catholic Church in Converse, with the Rev. Lewis officiating. 
Burial was in the Converse Cemetery, under the direction of the 
Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home. 
  
  Survivors include his wife, seven daughters, Mrs. Jerline 
Childress, Mrs. Mary Harding, Mrs. Bennie Manshack, all of 
Converse, Mrs. Audrey Burr, and Mrs. Ruby Dickson, both of 
Mansfield, Mrs. Laverne Paddie of Noble, Mrs. Patsy Litton of 
Houma; four sons, John Procell, and Joe Procell Jr., both of 
Converse, Joe Pete Procell of Jefferson, Tex., and J. R. Procell 
of Karnack, Tex.; four brothers, Jeff Procell, and Jessie 
Procell, both of Noble, Tom Procell of Mansfield, and John 
Procell of Benson; 44 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren.
