Procell Sam Procell, 80, of Noble, died Wednesday, May 30, at 5:45 a.m., from an extended illness. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 31, at 10 a.m., at the St. Ann Catholic Church in Noble, with Father Luis William Antlitz officiating. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Procell was a lifelong resident of Sabine Parish. He served on the Sabine Parish Democratic Executive Committee from Ward 5, for 25 years. He was a member of the Catholic Knights of America for 53 years. Survivors are seven sons, Roy Procell of Many, Joe, William, Jake, and Elmer Procell, all of Noble, Herman, Solan, and Bruce Procell, all of Shreveport; three daughters, Mrs. Lenora Ebarb, Mrs. Winnie Acklin, and Mrs. Maudie Sepulvado, all of Noble; one sister, Beatrice Carson of Odessa, Tex., and a number of grandchildren.
