Sam P. Procell

  Services for Mr. Sam P. Procell, 79, of Shreveport, were held at
2 p.m., Tuesday, April 20, at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Rev.
Ray Jenkins, associate pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, where
Mr. Procell was a member, officiated. Burial was in Forest Park
West Cemetery.

  He died at 10 p.m., Sunday, April 18, 1982, at Doctors Hospital,
following a short illness. Mr. Procell, born in Zwolle, and a
resident of Shreveport since 1951, was a retired Electrical
Welder at Fab. Steel.

  Mr. Procell is survived by his widow, Lillie Mae Procell of
Shreveport; two sons, Sam P. Procell Jr. of Keithville, and James
M. Procell of Shreveport; three daughters, Mrs. Mary T. Stanford,
and Mrs. Alene D. Haynile of Shreveport, and Mrs. Helen E.
Wallace of Ringgold; one sister, Mrs. Maggie Boyd of Shreveport;
several half brothers and sisters; a number of grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were his grandsons.
