Procell (Photo) A Co-Celebrant Mass for Mr. Herman C. Procell, 63, of Shreveport, was held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 7, in Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Fr. Leger Tremblay, pastor of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and Fr. Carson LaCaze, pastor of St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church, officiated. Burial was in Forest Park West. Services were under the direction of Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Mr. Procell, a native of Noble, La., died suddenly, Saturday, Jan. 4, 1986, in DeSoto General Hospital. He had been a resident of Shreveport since 1950, and was a retired letter carrier with the U. S. Postal Service. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, an Eucharistic Minister, and a Third Degree Knight of Columbus. He was survived by his wife, Evelyn Procell of Shreveport; three sons, Pat Procell, Don Procell, and Mike Procell, all of Shreveport; six daughters, Margie Storey of Oklahoma City, Vivian Foster, Sandra McKinney, Sharon Cox, Charlotte Rose, all of Shreveport, and Paula Phillips of Monroe; two sisters, Lena Ebarb, and Maudie Woodruff, both of Ebarb; six brothers, Joe William Procell of Noble, Jake Procell, Elmer Procell, both of Ebarb, Solan Procell of Converse, Bruce Procell of Shreveport, and Roy Procell of Many; 21 grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Pallbearers were Ralph Storey, Jim Faler, Mike Rose, Mike Phillips, Dr. Michael Cox, and Lynn Storey. The Knights of Columbus Marian Council No. 3779 will serve as honorary pallbearers.
