Procell, 81, died in Shreveport, on December 4, 1987. Services were held at St. Ann Catholic Church, on Dec. 7, at 10 a.m., with Father Gillis Boyer officiating. Burial was at St. Ann Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Survivors include five sons, Alfred Joseph Procell of Joaquin, Tex., David Procell of Winnfield, Malcolm Procell of Mansfield, Raymond Procell of Noble, and George Procell of Natchitoches; six daughters, Mrs. Vena Richards of Lake Charles, Mrs. Julie Scamardo of New Orleans, Mrs. Berndette Ezernack of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Evelyn Tomlinson of Houston, Tex., Miss Faye Procell of Nashville, Tenn., and Mrs. Lucille Dolan of Sulphur, La.; numerous grand and great grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. Della Laroux, Mrs. Victoria Malmay, Mrs. Elizabeth Rivers, Mrs. Evelyn Hedleston, Mrs. Annie Mae Grimes, Mrs. Rita McComic; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers included Greg Procell, James Procell, Wayne Richard, James Cooley, Darryl Richard, Leonard Richard, Bryan Procell, David E. Procell, and Andrew Sepulvado.
