Sidney Elisha Presley

  Funeral services for Mr. Sidney Elisha Presley, 79, were held at
1:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 7, in the Pisgah Baptist Church.
Interment followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery (Hornbeck), under
the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Francis Belsha
officiated the services.

  Mr. Presley passed away at the Sabine Medical Center in Many,
March 4.

  He is survived by two sons, Mitchell McDaniel of Shreveport, and
Michael Presley of Taipei, Taiwan; one daughter, Sybil Von Behren
of Knoxville, Texas; one brother, Henry Presley of Groves, Texas;
four sisters, Adelaide Brown of Hornbeck, Thelma Peace of Jasper,
Texas, Elizabeth Martin of Ball, and Nellie Scoggins of Port
Arthur, Texas; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

  Mr. Presley was preceded in death by his wife, Tishie Owers
Presley; a daughter, Tishie Faye Gendro; a grandson, Randall Ray
McDaniel; two brothers, Holland, and Barron Presley.
