Officiating was Father Peter Mangum with St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church. Burial was held in Forest Park West. A vigil service was held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, May 18, 1993, with the Rev. Bart Gould, pastor of All Souls Unitarian Church, officiating, assisted by Father Peter Mangum. Mr. Procell died Saturday, May 15, 1993, after a sudden illness. He was born in Portsmouth, Virginia, and had resided in Shreveport all of his life. Mr. Procell was a student at L.S.U., and was a member of St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church. He was a 1990 graduate of Huntington High School, and was very active with Alcoholics Anonymous. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen J. Procell of Shreveport; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Hermes of Shreveport; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Rosie Mae Procell of Ebarb; great grandmother, Mrs. H. H. Hermes Sr. of Shreveport; uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Greg Procell, Shreveport; nephew, Bryan Procell; niece, Dani Procell; and a host of other relatives. Pallbearers were Chris Shelby, Bryan Shelby, Mike Mikovich, Charles Procell, Chris Griffin, Mike Mannon, and Bryan Procell.
