Funeral services for Mr. Andrew Procell, age 62, were held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, September 20, 1993, in St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church, under the direction of Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating was Father Bernard McGuire, retired priest. Interment followed in Forest Park West, with graveside services conducted by the 12th District Department of Louisiana, Veterans of Foreign Wars Honor Guard. Mr. Procell died Thursday, September 16, 1993, in Willis-Knighton South, after a sudden illness. He was a native of Zwolle, and a resident of Shreveport since 1968. Mr. Procell was a general contractor, a Catholic, and a veteran of the U.S. Army, Korean Conflict. He was a Jump Master with the 82nd Airborne U.S. Army Paratroopers. Mr. Procell is survived by his wife, Maria Procell, who was a former resident of Austria, and a war bride of World War II; three sons, Andy Procell of Humble, Tex., Bimbo Procell of Larkspur, Colo., and Johnny Procell of Shreveport; two daughters, Gabrielle VonZynda, and Sharon Procell, both of Shreveport; one sister, Laurine Salbach of Denver, Colo.; two brothers, Joe Procell of Fayetteville, Ark., and Earnest Procell of Zwolle; and eleven grandchildren.
