Everlina Procell

  Funeral services for Everlina Procell, 97, of Converse, were
held Tuesday, October 31, 1995, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church
in Mansfield, with the Rev. Edmund A. Niehoff officiating. Mrs.
Procell died Sunday, Oct. 29, 1995, and was buried at Converse
Cemetery, under the direction of Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home of
Coushatta.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Procell; two sons,
Bud, and Porter Procell; and one daughter, Francis Childress.

  Survivors include two sons, Joe Procell Jr. of Converse, and J.
R. Procell of Karnack, Tex.; six daughters, Dinah Harding, Audrey
Burr, and Ruby Denson, all of Mansfield, Laverne Paddie of
Zwolle, Patsy Litton of Houma, and Bennie Manshack of Converse;
two brothers, Frank Paddie of Baton Rouge, and Simon Paddie of
Longview, Tex.; two sisters, Mary Graves of Pleasant Hill, and
Bobbie Sanders of Mansfield; 39 grandchildren; 76 great
grandchildren; and 22 great-great grandchildren.
