Jewel Alice Huckabay Presley

  Funeral services for Jewel Alice Huckabay Presley, 72, of
Groves, Texas, were held Saturday, Jan. 4, 1997, at 2 p.m., at
Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Officiating was Rev. Ray
Blundell. Interment was at Greenlawn Memorial Park, under the
direction of Levingston Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Presley died Thursday, Jan. 2, at Sunny Acres Group Home in
Nederland, Texas, after a lengthy illness. She was a native of
Port Arthur, and a resident of Groves for 41 years. She was a
graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur.

  She is survived by her husband, Mr. Henry Joseph Presley of
Groves, Texas; daughter, Mrs. Linda Breaux of Belton, Texas; two
sons, Dale M. Presley of Sour Lake, and John F. Presley of Port
Neches; sisters, Mrs. Joyce Sherman Gant of Onalaska, Texas, and
Mrs. Ruth Tompkins of Nederland; two brothers, Mr. Perry Huckabay
of Port Arthur, and Mr. Lawrence of Bridge City; two
granddaughters; three grandsons; and two great grandchildren.
