Mrs. Viola Meshell Procell

  Funeral services for Mrs. Viola Meshell Procell, 85, of Many,
will be held at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, March 12, 1997, at the St.
John's Catholic Church.

  Father William Carey will officiate. Burial will be in St.
John's Catholic Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Procell died Sunday, March 9, 1997, at Sabine Medical
Center.

  She is survived by one son, Maurice Procell of Many; one
daughter, Betty Procell (husband Don) of Belmont; three sisters,
Adeline Gray, St. Louis, Mo., Cora Miles, and Maggie Wilson of
Rolling Fork, Mississippi; one brother, Pete Meshell of Arkansas;
five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of
nieces, nephews, and close friends.

  Mrs. Procell was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Procell;
and a son, Wayne Procell.

  Pallbearers are Lawrence Brandon, Edgar Stephens, Karl Stephens,
Doug Robertson, Daryl Brandon, and Dale Skinner.

  Honorary pallbearers are Joseph Procell, Abram Remedies, and
Earnest Rodrigues.
