John H. Pirkle

  Funeral services for a former Shreveport businessman, John H.
Pirkle, 67, of Oakdale, Calif., were held Aug. 22, in the Church
of the Nazarene in Oakdale. Burial was in Oak Lawn Memorial Park
there.

  Mr. Pirkle, a California real estate agent, died on Aug. 17, in
the Oakdale Hospital. He was born in Alabama, but spent most of
his life in Louisiana.

  Among survivors is a sister, Mildred Walker of Florien.
