Ivy Lee Pearson

  Ivy Lee Pearson, 50, of Leesville, passed away in a local nursing
home on Sunday, Mar 1.

  Funeral services were held on Monday, Mar. 2, in the Chapel of Hixon
Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lionell Crowell, pastor of First Baptist
Church of Leesville officiating. Burial was in Bayou Scie Cemetery.

  Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Nettie Pearson of Leesville; four
sisters, Mrs. Maurie Schwartz, Mrs. Dewey McComic, and Mrs. Leland
Pruitt, all of Leesville, and Mrs. Travis Litton of Fisher; and two
brothers, Thomas Pearson of Engleside, Tex., and Raymond Pearson of
Longview, Tex.

  Pallbearers were; Dennis Karmales, Bill Yancy, Ronald Holsomback,
Gene Stewart, Earl Tyler, Doyle Pearson, E. W. Holsomback, and Gerald
Wayne Tyler.
