The Sabine Index - Dr. W. P. Perkins 
  
  10 Feb 1939 - Dr. W. P. Perkins, age 84 years, who passed away 
at Girvin, Texas, January 25th, was buried in Leesville January 
30. Dr. Perkins was well known in Sabine parish, having practiced 
in Gandy for a number of years. he was born in Jasper, Texas, 
coming to Leesville in 1898. 
  
  Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. R. A. Williams, Girvin, Texas, 
and a son, Archibald Perkins of Longview, Texas, and two 
grandchildren. W. E. Stephens of Zwolle was a brother-in-law.
