The Sabine Index - Claud Pearson

  16 Mar 1951 - Funeral rites for Claud Pearson who passed away
at a Shreveport hospital Sunday, were conducted 3 p.m. Monday at
Springhill cemetery, Hemphill, Texas by Rev. Swearington of
Pineland, Texas, assisted by Rev. T. M. Lancaster of Zwolle.
Interment was under direction Warren funeral home, Many.

  Pallbearers were Adrian Barlow, Mutt Barlow, Sam Lord, Ben
Kirk, Thed White and Arnold White.

  Surviving relatives include: the widow, Mrs. Nettie
Pearson, Fisher; son, Claud Pearson, Silsbee, Texas; brothers,
Grady Pearson, Zwolle, and Johnnie Pearson, Corpus Christi,
Texas; sisters, Mrs. Verla Lord, Hemphill, Texas, Mrs. Bertha
Cole, Bessmay, Texas, and Mrs. Vivian Lindsey, Silsbee, Texas.

  Among those from Zwolle attending the funeral were:
Randall Parrott, Senator R. L. Gay and Rev. T. M. Lancaster.
