The Sabine Index - R. E. Pearson

  26 Nov 1943 - Funeral services for R. E. Pearson, age 76
years, who died at his home in Zwolle Tuesday at 8:30 a.m., after
an illness of several months, were held at 9:30 Wednesday with
the pastor, Rev. D. L. Dykes, officiating.

  Mr. Pearson and his wife were among the first families to
settle in Zwolle after the town site was established. Since that
time the name Pearson has been prominent throughout the parish.

  He is survived by his wife, one sister-in-law, three nephews
and a niece.

  Interment was at Magnolia, Ark., under direction Dennis-Green
funeral home.
