The Sabine Index - Virginia Joy Pearson

  11 Jun 1943 - Virginia Joy Pearson, 2, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Thomas Pearson of Zwolle, was killed about noon Monday when
she fell from a moving car.

  Mr. and Mrs. Pearson were returning from Many and were near
Hall service station in Zwolle when the car door came open and
the baby fell out. Her skull was crushed by the fall and she died
while on the way to Fraser sanitarium in Many.

  She is survived by her parents and a sister Jeannette.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Bayou Scie Methodist
church with the Rev. Joe Flanagan officiating. Burial was in
Bayou Scie cemetery.
