Sam Perkins Sr.

  Funeral services for Mr. Sam Perkins Sr., were held Wednesday,
Dec. 12, at St. Peter Baptist Church in Fisher, at 1 p.m. Mr.
Perkins was 59 years old. Rev. C. A. Lilly officiated. Burial was
in the Methodist Cemetery. Services were under the direction of
Jenkins Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pearlie B. Perkins of Many; two
sons, Mr. Johnny Perkins of Many, and Mr. Sammy Ray Perkins of
Los Angeles; two daughters, Jennifer Perkins of Many, and Donna
D. Perkins of Many; one uncle, Mr. Judge Bactor of Allen, La.;
eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild; and a host of
nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

  Pallbearers were Mr. J. W. McClanahan, Mr. Fred Lilly, Mr.
Redell Windley, Mr. Fred Harris, Mr. John Butler, and Mr. Leon
James.
