Mrs. Nancy Amanda Parsons

  Services for Mrs. Nancy Amanda Parsons, 76, of Coushatta, were
held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, September 18, at the Rockett-Nettles
Funeral Home Chapel in Coushatta. The Rev. Bill Hines officiated.
Burial was at Springville Cemetery in Coushatta.

  Mrs. Parsons died Monday, September 16, 1985, at her residence,
after a lengthy illness.

  She is survived by two sons, George D. Parsons, Jr. of Kenner,
La., and Col. Thomas R. Parsons, retired, of Converse, La.; two
sisters, Ola Edwards of Coushatta, and Virginia Tanton of Dallas,
Texas; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were John D'Antoni, Richard Daime, Fred Edwards,
Thomas Edwards, Bill Tanton, and I. L. Dickson.
